I first heard Jred at the Hip Hop 4 Flint Charity Event. This was a charity event to raise money for the people of Flint Michigan after their drinking water crisis. At the event I heard Jred perform a nice set. Jred performed a set full of trap flavored bangers. His performance was high energy. Jred danced his way across the stage while playing heavy beats. This all came together for a fun show. Jred I got a chance to listen too Jred‘s full length project “Before The Fame”. My initial impression of Jred is that he is a rapper who is most comfortable making slightly dark, trap influenced bangers. Jred talks a lot about drugs, a lot about his swagger, and a lot about his grind on this project.

Original “Our Song” for Your Lie in April — This was actually my first Quick Track introduction, this was not the song I originally heard Gio Navas play when she performed at Artistic Vibes. I have not had the time to find that song yet and share it with you (she has alot of songs, which seems to highlight a beautiful passion). If I gain the time, I will eventually find the songs, or maybe she just plays them so much better in person (possible). When Gio Navas sings (in person), its very hard not to like it even if you don’t like anime. You can hear soul or spirit in her voice, which I feel doesn’t fully come off in the videos as well as it does in her live performances. Not to say she does not display spirit when listening to her digitality but having first heard her in person I can tell the difference.
Artistic Vibes Open Mic Tonight(4,7, 2016) and Comedy Event Laugh attack tomorrow One of the best Open Mic spots in Miami is having their regular ad awesome open mic tonight at 9:00PM. The ticket cost is 5$, its a great place to have a great time. The range is huge, you get music, comedy, poetry, improv, its alot and always variable (which is like a life spice). If you have friends and your looking for a cool spot to hang out or don’t know where to take a date, try Artistic Vibes. Really nice place and the people are so nice. I don’t know if I’m breaking some sort of rule by telling everyone about the best underground places to enjoy yourself in Miami. I just noticed that lack of information sharing about the good spots in the Miami community and thought it would be good to know. If you know any cool places, please feel free to let me know. Easily their Open Mic Thursday weekly shows are arguably the best in Greater Miami. If anyone knows a better place,please feel free to notify me. Its all around better for the collective arts community and I would definitely like to promote such a place, right beside the place I am talking about now called Artistic Vibes. One of the key reasons I think Artistic Vibes is the one of the best if not the best spot in Miami is the supportive family vibe that is present within the organization. Tremendous talent walks in and resides within the venue. It is an extremely impressive collection but the ability to cultivate and develop talent is an especially important feature in Open Mic events. To help talent take it to the next level, official shows are put up such as Re-Verb, Laugh Attack and more… they are always doing new things. Movement + Location Trailer Sci Fi, Indie, drama and plot, these are aspects that intrigue me and I am looking forward to viewing the film Movement + Location. Making a film can be really hard. Alot of people take the craft for granted, so many different crafts go into making a good film. I have a strong positive feeling that Movement + Location’s crew has done a good job, in the areas necessary for the film’s story to be told to me in a way that does not require extensive effort to watch (that is strong criteria for me when judging entertainment, not a special effects person as that is just spice). I think the movie is taking a creative approach at a few issues that really are human issues. Setting these issues in a sci-fi can make them easier to digest and hopefully grow from. Love, loyalty, helping others, the affinity of man(kind), are just a few things for starters. Wrapping these all into a sci-fi plot that deals with these issues makes for an interesting package, that I am truly excited to see. Movement and LocationMovement and Location
