David Bernard From Relief – Lovely (Quick intro with a little humor) I really liked this song alot, Its a powerful song. I don’t want to spend too long but I will do a quick introduction on a hard worker and a talent. David Bernard lead singer from the band Relief, I heard him perform in person while eating the greatest salad in recent memory from Moroccan Bocadillos (seriously the greatest salad in recent memory). He performed this song in person, man it was good. I listened to their music while having a vivid fantasy about marrying the salad and living a happy together (I seriously love that salad and It was a major plus to going to Artistic Vibes because they collaborate with amazing restaurants at performance nights).
Moroccan Bocadillos Best Moroccan Restaurant of wheels I am going to say this with a straight face(that you can’t see). This is the best Moroccan restaurant on wheels, easily. The food is great, whether your use to middle eastern food or not. Their menu really reaches out to everyone without losing the cultural Moroccan nature. I had their salad, ooooh man… I’m getting hungry just remembering the salad. It was simply love, and I recommend it to anyone and I may offer to buy a salad for you (if your lucky).
Music Quest : Original “Brave” for Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist (Hiromu Arakawa) – I like Gio Navas for numerous reasons but I wont go into all of them at the moment. She actually writes these songs, which is even more impressive when you add in her vocal range and instrumentation skills (I can’t play a musical instrument at all). This song is one of her newer Fullmetal Alchemist songs it seems, I have had the pleasure of personally hearing her perform (she’s wow in person, even better to me than in these videos). Sadly, I could not locate the songs I heard her in person performance. However I will be putting more of her videos up so hopefully you guys can get something you like.
Hip Hop 4 Flint, helping to light the flame hope for all of us working to create a better world — Thanks to Hip Hop 4 Flint for shining the spotlight back on the events happening in Flint Michigan. Its really easy to forget about these kinds of problems in our current society. However its people like them that are striving and doing the best they can whatever their personal beliefs and ideologies are do aid people voluntarily is re-inspiring. I wanted to pass the light that they shined to me, to shine it to you so you can see and have a chance to do something. There are people that feel that they do not have the funds to do anything to help. That’s only true when its one individual but if many people do a little it becomes alot. The world is the way it is today not really because of the big things and or moments, its the little ones. So just think of it as an opportunity cost, you can easily side step that extra Arizona(1$ ) or Big Texas Cinnamon bun(1$).(Yes, I am using things I like to eat)

The MCs are really cool people who host a show that has a Catalyst imprint (update). -There are alot of people who host Hip Hop shows. However many of them do not possess the proper organic spirit of Hip Hop, Props and Bonds does.
Music Quest Log: Ending up at Props and Bonds to show some support for local artist Another event day int the music quest logs.- I had alot to do before I even got to Saturday Mic Live event. It was quite the build up from the week before (see Music Quest Intro). I arrived to the event, to support a few of the artist that I had seen perform the week prior. I was in for a nice surprise this time around because alot of things happened at this event which made it the local Hip Hop event of the month. — I met Don Julio about now two weeks back(consciously, I may have seen him or met him before, its very possible). I heard him and his associates practicing. Normally I would’ve just left but Don Julio seemed to be a cool and good dude, well so did the other people room. So they opened the floor up and was really going over ways to make their performances the best for the audience. Which is huge positive, being constructive I stayed around and I tried to stay still like a background. I was able to hear Don Julio‘s newer stuff, which he was going to use for the event.
The Spotlight: Music Talks Acey Ace I first heard Ace Acey at Props and Bonds (check out my experience at Props & Bonds). I was surprised by how good he was that night. He had a great performance and I actually liked his content, so did the crowd. – Please Play this song “Lemonade”- When he got on stage I was not expecting much, honestly. I was just waiting until I could hear the guys I came to support such as Don Julio(see other for info). I once again will re-iterate, I was surprised, I mean pleasantly surprised with the talent that he demonstrated. It raised the bar for the rest of the performances for me. It has also elevated my view of future performances from Props and Bonds(what I saw that night was pretty amazing, more about it here). He performed three songs, which from his album(later found out and link to it can be found at bottom support) Blue & Red. Animanga Thoughts: The Boy and The Beast Let’s support the theatrical release even if its not in our area by sharing the theatrical trailer and liking the movie. If we do this we an get investors to consider it worthwhile to invest more money into anime theatrical releases (Thanks so much, let’s do the best we can to make the changes only we can make) Synopsis “Kyuta slips into an alternate universe where he is raised by a bear-man, Kumatetsu. Kyuta is eventually thrust into an adventure which spans both worlds. ” The Boy and Beast ‘s story seems to be really good, it seems to have some deep symbology and multi-layer aspects in the plot going on. Sadly there doesn’t seem to be any showings(theater viewings) in my area and probably your area if you reside in North America. This is pretty much normal for us that has been in the animanga community for a long time. However there are things I believe we can do as a community, which can make such investments in us worth while.

Artistic Vibes’s ReVerb presents LOVE SICK I’ll most probably be at this event tonight. Sorry, I couldn’t tell you guys about it sooner because well, I found about it on performance night (last Thursday). I have been a bit busy(similar stuff to the past but I am doing my best to change it). I can say that if this event is half as good as Artistic Vibes weekly open mic, that is on Thursday; Reverb will be really good, because the events on Thursdays for me have been great. I have not been able to do a Spotlight on Artistic Vibes but I will. The talent their is amazing and the host is wow, Quills Rodriguez (follow her cause you probably follow less talented people, lol) is amazing MC, just so funny(I always find jokes just on and multi-layered which is important). Then her improvisational skills are just top notch, hard for me to think of better people in that area. Look something usually goes wrong at a show, also its really hard to have material that you are creating off the dome for most people.
