– How did I discover Yella, well I heard about her from our very own Absolute Zero. I heard good things about her from Black Trazan and others, however I was not sure about how good she would as an artist. I really was doing it purely for moral reasons. That changed a bit when I played her music, It was honestly surprising. I’m not the Hip Hop backpack type that can’t appreciate didn’t styles or sounds.

Her song Big Bang, is a good, it should really resonate with the current Barbie audience. That is not my thing but sonically it holds up and her lyrical skills are better than most other guys that are currently making music (Rich Homie Quan Freestyle to Ambitionz as a Ridah). When I started to really feel her was when I heard the song below Champagne Shower.

-I like Reggae riddems, its something that’s been cultured in the blood. So this song more perked my interest. I think its a good mixture and possess balance, the beat is nice, the lyrics are good and its catchy. I will not seriously break down this song, if you like to party or you like Reggae then just listen to this song. Honestly once again she is better than most dudes making similar music right now. Its kinda surprising to me why she hasn’t received more interest because she is really close to prime.

-This Song showcases more classic Hip Hop skills, which kinda reminds me of Jean Grae. I really like this song and I will probably listen to it on my own. You really learn alot about an artist on a solo track, more than a feature. Lyrics and bars schemes are above average industry level, the depth and soul connection in the track makes Yella more than a single side artist. If your a person who is more into spiritually  classic Hip Hop sonics then you will like this track.

I don’t know Yella at all despite the personal connections. I am not amplifying praises, I honestly was impressed. She is really talented and I will follow her, because she does seem also like a cool person. That’s about as far as I can go if its off music. I think she is one of better female talents easily by far. I listen to female artist, alot of them aren’t good sadly. In the past there use to be better female artist but I think artistry as whole is suffering in de-development spiral of mankind. Its not that you have to make conscious music. Whatever the type of music you make…just make it good. For me her music in each style passes the basic bar for being good. I think if we ever were judging people off merit then Yella is someone we should strongly consider. Especially since we talk about that so much in Hip Hop circles. Let’s stop talking and start acting, you want a good female MC, her is one. You want Barbie style music but with lyrics that makes since, Yella can do that. Its hard to find a reason not to like Yella, especially by the competition. If you have one, sincerely tell me, I honestly would like to know. No insults from me, I will consider your point sincerely.

Yella the triple threat cover

Starting today I will be following Yella the Triple Threat. I am pleasant surprised and I hope she continues to make great music. Personally I would want her to continue making different types of music, like she does already. The tracks above all have different feels and I would like her to keep those styles separate but present on future works like Eps, etc. It would be great to be able to listen to the different styles on an album because is something that she can do that few can do. Separating yourself from the pack is always good if you want to be recognized and this will further help to make her sound more distinct from her competition. Follow and send your feed back to this talent, lets support and watch the growth and development of Yella, The Triple Threat.
