Personal Introduction of Night I came to Props & Bonds Saturday Mic Live September 17th to enjoy the monthly show. I especially had to support @Dermdzl. There were a slew of great artist that came through, it was a great night. I was personally dealing with some mental and emotional issues but that’s become pretty constant so I try to find something sincere to be happy about, being positive. It wasn’t that hard because the people at Catalyst Hip Hop Miami &Props and Bonds Saturday Mic Live are pretty good people. Really solid and positive and its hard to stay in a negative disposition around them for long, especially if you are trying to be positive yourself. I probably looked the range in some of pictures that end up being taken at the events that night, lol. Through the event I was in alot pain as I have injured my leg. Happily, the event was so awesome. I really tried my best to support and stay in a supportive mental state. I have alot of pain tolerance, but it was discomforting to move. I don’t know how many people fully digested what my lyrics are about on this track. The track has a simple concept, but its easy to overlook if your not paying attention. I was really tired because I haven’t slept or slept properly in days (maybe 3 hours every two days if lucky). —- —- Follow Props and Bonds Next months upcoming Saturday Mic Live I always have had a great time attending Saturday Mic Live and I really appreciate what they are doing. I have always talked about, attempted and have aspirations to better help the organic Hip Hop scene. So I always try to backup my word and better support it with action. That being said I arrived really late, I tell you I was tired. The week has been very tiring with all the crazy events and all. I arrived when Paradox, (not sure could’ve been later) was finishing his set.

Original “Our Song” for Your Lie in April — This was actually my first Quick Track introduction, this was not the song I originally heard Gio Navas play when she performed at Artistic Vibes. I have not had the time to find that song yet and share it with you (she has alot of songs, which seems to highlight a beautiful passion). If I gain the time, I will eventually find the songs, or maybe she just plays them so much better in person (possible). When Gio Navas sings (in person), its very hard not to like it even if you don’t like anime. You can hear soul or spirit in her voice, which I feel doesn’t fully come off in the videos as well as it does in her live performances. Not to say she does not display spirit when listening to her digitality but having first heard her in person I can tell the difference.

Music Quest : Original “Brave” for Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist (Hiromu Arakawa) – I like Gio Navas for numerous reasons but I wont go into all of them at the moment. She actually writes these songs, which is even more impressive when you add in her vocal range and instrumentation skills (I can’t play a musical instrument at all). This song is one of her newer Fullmetal Alchemist songs it seems, I have had the pleasure of personally hearing her perform (she’s wow in person, even better to me than in these videos). Sadly, I could not locate the songs I heard her in person performance. However I will be putting more of her videos up so hopefully you guys can get something you like.

Music Quest Log: Ending up at Props and Bonds to show some support for local artist Another event day int the music quest logs.- I had alot to do before I even got to Saturday Mic Live event. It was quite the build up from the week before (see Music Quest Intro). I arrived to the event, to support a few of the artist that I had seen perform the week prior. I was in for a nice surprise this time around because alot of things happened at this event which made it the local Hip Hop event of the month. — I met Don Julio about now two weeks back(consciously, I may have seen him or met him before, its very possible). I heard him and his associates practicing. Normally I would’ve just left but Don Julio seemed to be a cool and good dude, well so did the other people room. So they opened the floor up and was really going over ways to make their performances the best for the audience. Which is huge positive, being constructive I stayed around and I tried to stay still like a background. I was able to hear Don Julio‘s newer stuff, which he was going to use for the event.
Top Ten Artists to Listen too if you want more Andre 3000 – Artist # 1 “I like Andre 3000, judging by his history and appeal many of you like Andre as well. The problem is that there is only one Andre 3000. However Absolute Zero has created a list of other acts that do not just imitate style(that’s not Hip Hop), no they have a similar soul and vibe that naturally remind you of Andre.
