Its me Michael aka Absolute Zero and I am going to announce some changes I’m making concerning Youauthorus and my personal brand as a musician. Basically I’m stopping my pursuit of music for the foreseeable future. I’ve basically been failing to get my brand together for the last 3 years. Thanks to the help from really close friends, especially RJ , I have had some real moments of success trying to come up as a rapper, but I’m not stable enough or even capable enough to run this brand.

Compression Compression is a audio effect that lowers the volume of audio above a set volume threshold. This makes the audio volume more uniform.
With Kanye West constantly making incidents, being arrogant, and increasingly making political messages, should we separate these things from how we view his music? Kanye West‘s style of Hip-hop has always been incredibly personal. He plays off the fact that you are familiar with his life, to give his lyrics context. Kanye often uses an under dog narrative, but the high levels of arrogance he has been displaying really hurts that message in his songs. When you take a moment and compare his song lyrics, to the facts of what we know happened in all these events, it can change the way you view his music.
The other day, (actually it was after Props and Bonds Saturday Mic Live) I was in Catalyst Hip-hop. I normally get shy and have some level of anxiety talking to people in these kind of settings. I know it seems counter intuitive that I can perform music in front of hundreds or thousands of people. But casual to intimate conversations make me massively uncomfortable except for all but a few people. My friend RJ was trying to take a break in the corner of the room (sleep or nap). I really should have been just talking to people, but I just stood around in his area.
The last post I made was not good. I spent too much time writing it. These posts/logs should be more off the cuff. The way I wrote the last post generally covers my problems that I can list causally off my head. (worked on it to make it better) I know that a few people expressed that my problems are normal (supporting me when they found out about my blog series), but they aren’t. I’m sure most of you reading this don’t know that I’m both sadistic and masochistic (S/M). I know that this alone isn’t incredibly uncommon, but I do fear that my masochism has lead me to create environments for my own failure (its a complicated and discover more all the time). Which doesn’t just hurt myself ,it also hurts the people around me and I have to change this (there are other major problems but this ties into them strongly, making them very warped). Why because I seek people out and wrap them into my world. – I want my brothers wife because its my brother’s wife

I did some audio consultation and sound effects for the youtube series “The Hip- Hop RPG“. This series created by Dom (of the DSC youtube channel) focuses on a fictional story of a time traveling Kendrick Lamar fighting Illuminati aliens. Basically the idea is to create a parody of Final Fantasy and modern day Hip-Hop. Dom was heavily influenced by Final Fantasy VII when he was young, and his podcast puts him into the world of Hip-Hop on a regular basis. Being the talented visual artist and creator he is, The Hip-Hop RPG married these two worlds together. Dom reached out to me for help with some sound effects and audio selection. I was more than glad to help. I’ve always been a big fan of his channel, and I feel he is an incredibly talented artist. He always stresses hard work and it shows in his end product.
Absolute Zero: Zero (Music Video) This is my title track form my self titled album “Zero“. This dark track sets the tone and the mood of the album. I was able to work with Dom on the music video. Hey, everyone I know that I’ve have been absent on Facebook for while. I wanted to let everyone in on some of the things going on with me (past and present). This is just a little bit of what you can expect from me in the future. Most people who know me, know I’m a strange dude. I’m socially awkward, secretive, pretentious (for like no reason) and I have an incredibly bad memory. These are just some of the major problems that I have. I am currently working on them but I also have some darker problems, some really dark chronic issues I’m dealing with. These problems, I have been dealing with them my whole life. But more recently these problems have directly hurt the people I my life who I care about most.
Stopping music on the site and winding down/ stopping work with Michael/ Zero. Me and Zero are still friends, for anyone coming for Zero updates you will still be able to find it here. However I will be moving away from it from reasons I contextualize below. To make clearly it is more a spiritual move away or orientation as I want and need Zero to be more autonomous. This was the original arrangement we had about the extended work. Alot has changed as many projects are now pretty much cancelled (unless I put in the work in them but I’m pretty tired and I honestly might not have life time left to do this). I want to get back to writing stories and dealing with Animanga. I need to fix personal problems that have been amplified or exacerbated in this period that I have spent helping Absolute Zero with his person. This is the input list ( Production list with dates for expected release) that I’m working with now. These are the things that I have to do, when I feel like I’m prepared for them (I create alot of problems, have alot of issues and trying my best to be a person that deals with those issues instead of dumping them on others). I’m putting them out so hopefully people can hold me to account. I know that the website had hundreds of readers and thousands of views. I’ve literally messed up all that up with my dysfunction. In my Rj Context, I made it easier to understand and perceive the Frank Ocean situation for those who do not know or understand the topic and subject matter (type of music, audience, time period, etc).
