Its your boy Absolute Zero, Defender of the Universe, and I’m back to talk about Kooley4rmTheAve. I first met this artist at the Hip-Hop For Flint Charity Concert. That night I saw Kooley come in and perform a very live set. Kooley came in and delivered really dope bars over amazing beats. He was really energetic in his performance and his songs sounded really good. His performance was tight and really got me interested in his music. When I made it around to checking Kooley’s soundcloud, I was very impressed with what I found there. The only problem I have with Kooley’s soundcloud is, that he only has two songs. This appears to be all the music Kooley has released so far. I can’t hold this against Kooley too much because the two songs he does have uploaded are amazing. The first song I heard from Kooley is a song called “High Love”. Here we see Kooley delivering a heavily autotuned rap verse. I first heard Jred at the Hip Hop 4 Flint Charity Event. This was a charity event to raise money for the people of Flint Michigan after their drinking water crisis. At the event I heard Jred perform a nice set. Jred performed a set full of trap flavored bangers. His performance was high energy. Jred danced his way across the stage while playing heavy beats. This all came together for a fun show. Jred I got a chance to listen too Jred‘s full length project “Before The Fame”. My initial impression of Jred is that he is a rapper who is most comfortable making slightly dark, trap influenced bangers. Jred talks a lot about drugs, a lot about his swagger, and a lot about his grind on this project.

Easily their Open Mic Thursday weekly shows are arguably the best in Greater Miami. If anyone knows a better place,please feel free to notify me. Its all around better for the collective arts community and I would definitely like to promote such a place, right beside the place I am talking about now called Artistic Vibes. One of the key reasons I think Artistic Vibes is the one of the best if not the best spot in Miami is the supportive family vibe that is present within the organization. Tremendous talent walks in and resides within the venue. It is an extremely impressive collection but the ability to cultivate and develop talent is an especially important feature in Open Mic events. To help talent take it to the next level, official shows are put up such as Re-Verb, Laugh Attack and more… they are always doing new things. The MCs are really cool people who host a show that has a Catalyst imprint (update). -There are alot of people who host Hip Hop shows. However many of them do not possess the proper organic spirit of Hip Hop, Props and Bonds does.
Music Quest Log: Ending up at Props and Bonds to show some support for local artist Another event day int the music quest logs.- I had alot to do before I even got to Saturday Mic Live event. It was quite the build up from the week before (see Music Quest Intro). I arrived to the event, to support a few of the artist that I had seen perform the week prior. I was in for a nice surprise this time around because alot of things happened at this event which made it the local Hip Hop event of the month. — I met Don Julio about now two weeks back(consciously, I may have seen him or met him before, its very possible). I heard him and his associates practicing. Normally I would’ve just left but Don Julio seemed to be a cool and good dude, well so did the other people room. So they opened the floor up and was really going over ways to make their performances the best for the audience. Which is huge positive, being constructive I stayed around and I tried to stay still like a background. I was able to hear Don Julio‘s newer stuff, which he was going to use for the event.
