Destino de Abril – Green Car Motel (Music and track review)

| | No comments yet | Tags: , , , , , , , , ,

–Source Introduction– I honestly love this song. I put the version from the movie Collateral. This movie is amazing and one of the best Crime, Drama, Action, Thriller movies I’ve ever seen. The movie this reminds me the most of at the moment is Heat. Yeah that is a pretty good movie, I know. However Collateral is that good of a movie and it has pretty good performances from the actors, esp Jamie Fox. This Movie was the first time that Tom Cruise played a villain. A role which he does very well. Tons of insight jokes, in a very serious movie, the philosophical and psychological side of this movie is amazingly deep. Its an example of how movies should be done. This song really glows and shines in the movie for me at the end credits and I let play because of this song.  Your Destination in April ( I like that better, should’ve made another version like that) but the name of the song as best as I can translate is “Your destiny in April“. It is a somber and deep song. It really touches the corners of my soul, it fits my life a bit better Read More…

Wu Tang Clan Enter the 36 Chambers Classic Review

Album History   –Wu Tang Clan : Enter the 36 Chambers is an album that was made in 1993, and is about 60 mins long. Its an East Coast Hardcore Hip Hop album, whose title was inspired by a cult classic Kung Fu movie called The 36th Chamber of Shaolin (which I believe was made in 1978 or 77). The album was the debut album of Wu Tang clan (another name inspired by Kung Fu movie genre) and re-invigorated East Coast Hip Hop (especially New York). Personal: This album changed Absolute Zero‘s perspective on Hip Hop music and made him appreciate and admire the genre. Leading him to develop into the artist he is today.   – Artist on the this album are –

Beanie Sigel’s “I’m Coming“   A diss song from Philadelphia Hip Hop legend Beanie Sigel, aimed at Meek Mill. The song was given weight by Meek Mill‘s crew sucker punching Beanie Sigel in the face at an event. Alot more can be said on this but you can find out more from Music Talks: Quick context for Beanie Sigel Vs Meek Mill Feud (Rj Context). -I state my feelings about this song in a track review, that I will probably be updating periodically (Music Thoughts: Beanie Sigel’s I’m Coming (Track Review) ). The lyrics for this song I got from Genuis.com. If you want to know the lyrics to a song, go their and you can probably find it. Lyrics

Hip-Hop RPG Episode 1

| | No comments yet | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , ,

I did some audio consultation and sound effects for the youtube series “The Hip- Hop RPG“. This series created by  Dom (of the DSC youtube channel) focuses on a fictional story of a time traveling Kendrick Lamar fighting Illuminati aliens. Basically the idea is to create a parody of Final Fantasy and modern day Hip-Hop. Dom was heavily influenced by Final Fantasy VII when he was young, and his podcast puts him into the world of Hip-Hop on a regular basis. Being the talented visual artist and creator he is, The Hip-Hop RPG married these two worlds together.  Dom reached out to me for help with some sound effects and audio selection. I was more than glad to help. I’ve always been a big fan of his channel, and I feel he is an incredibly talented artist. He always stresses hard work and it shows in his end product.

Absolute Zero: Zero (Music Video)   This is my title track form my self titled album “Zero“. This dark track sets the tone and the mood of the album. I was able to work with Dom on the music video. Its a very simple concept, but I really enjoy the way this came out. I’m not an visual artist, but it always amazes me the what people can draw. Follow J.Cole Subscribe to J.Cole I like J Cole alot, this song was and is pretty good. It really showcases his lyrical range, bar schemes and his potential. Alot of people still seem to sleep on this song and the album which produced it, Cole World: The Sideline Story. I going to be adding more J.Cole songs, one of the reason is because not enough people play his music.

Rj Knights The Top 10 songs currently most listened to songs(while working) #1 & # bounus

| | No comments yet | Tags: , , , , , ,

I have a list of ten songs that I currently listen to alot. I play these songs on loop while I work or am detoxing form powerful emotions. These songs have no current order of importance, as I am tired and judging that way would be hard (I have a hard time picking favorites). So I am going to list number one and bonus.     # 1 BØRNS | “Past Lives” (Audio) | Interscope     Past lives from BORNS , started this for me in recent memory. I really was very tired and I heard this song on a commercial. I searched hard for it and then discovered it. Man it was a good song. I really only listened to like 1, 000 times. Later, I ventured out and started out to listen to their other songs. Now, BORNS has made it to my core band listen circle. I really like this song, it was pleasing to see so many people came to love the song and the band same way I did.     # 2

Quick Artist Introduction to Kooley4rmTheAve Cloudy Miami Lyricist

| | No comments yet | Tags: , , , , , , , , ,

Its your boy Absolute Zero, Defender of the Universe, and I’m back to talk about Kooley4rmTheAve. I first met this artist at the Hip-Hop For Flint Charity Concert. That night I saw Kooley come in and perform a very live set. Kooley came in and delivered really dope bars over amazing beats. He was really energetic in his performance and his songs sounded really good. His performance was tight and really got me interested in his music.   When I made it around to checking Kooley’s soundcloud, I was very impressed with what I found there. The only problem I have with Kooley’s soundcloud is, that he only has two songs. This appears to be all the music Kooley has released so far. I can’t hold this against Kooley too much because the two songs he does have uploaded are amazing.   The first song I heard from Kooley is a song called “High Love”. Here we see Kooley delivering a heavily autotuned rap verse. I don’t listen to a lot of autotune music, but Kooley pulls it off so well the song just flows. The song features a smooth female vocal feature on the hook. This Read More…

Extended Introduction to JRed – Before The Fame – Album Review

| | No comments yet | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

I first heard Jred at the Hip Hop 4 Flint Charity Event. This was a charity event to raise money for the people of Flint Michigan after their drinking water crisis. At the event I heard Jred perform a nice set. Jred performed a set full of trap flavored bangers. His performance was high energy. Jred danced his way across the stage while playing heavy beats. This all came together for a fun show.   Jred       I got a chance to listen too Jred‘s full length project “Before The Fame”. My initial impression of Jred is that he is a rapper who is most comfortable making slightly dark, trap influenced bangers. Jred talks a lot about drugs, a lot about his swagger, and a lot about his grind on this project.

The Beatnuts – Watch Out Now

The Beatnuts – Watch Out Now Love this song by the Beatnuts, its a true classic. I remember as a kid listening to this song over and over. I actually never saw the video until years later. I don’t know if I am rating it higher than it is because of nostalgia points. No, I don’t think so because I liked it alot as a kid (maybe..). I think the overall level in the song is more than solid. The way that Hip Hop music is going I am not sure this song will be surpassed by future music to come.
