Alterna comics, 10 years and looks cool

Alterna comics, 10 years and looks cool – – Saw Alterna Comics on Twitter and I was like wow, this looks cool. I re-tweeted it instantly. I checked out a bit more of it and yeah, Alterna is cool. It has universe creation, something as a writer and artist, I respect and admire. The art work is clearly better than mine(I stopped and don’t practice but I could never color). I really like to check out the skill that another artist employs in their field and the guys at Alterna are definitely skilled. Looking for a comic verse to read because hey you might want something new.

Mercy Sparx: Omnibus Collection – I noticed this project while I was online and I was interested in helping to promote it and bring it to others attentions. I have goals to do similar work, and it brings joy to my heart to esp help someone in the field. This comic looks pretty good, the artwork seems amazing and the story seems to be catching. Its really hard in our field, I honestly hope you guys like this simple introduction. Please support their work if you can, you can donate to their project monetarily. If you don’t have funds you can still help, I know as artist we generally really love it when you give us feed back and share our work with others. We make the work for ourselves but also for you. sSo when you know you enjoy it, it fills our hearts. Check out the video for the project below, support their Kickstarter campaign if possible but click to get more information form the source itself. Thanks

Y: The Last Man Comic Review

Y: The Last Man is a comic by Vertigo that was released September 2002 – March 2008. I recently picked it up and finished it based on a recommendation from my good friend Dom, he does great animations, curating, and interviews on his youtube channel. But back to the task at hand the Last man, as its name implies is a story about the last man alive on planet earth after some mysterious event called “The Plague” kills off every male mammal on the planet. The only surviving man on the planet is Yorick Brown, a relatively wimpy beta male who’s only skills are that of an escape artist (think David Blaine) and a wide knowledge of pop culture. He accompanied by a mysterious government agent named 355 and a scientist named Allison Mann as they travel a post apocalyptic world filled only with women. Presentation 10/10 The Artwork was excellent; the scenes are illustrated beautifully and the style stays very consistent throughout the work. That being said, I feel the coloring is really where I feel this comic shines. The colors tend to have this autumn feel to them and the lighting always seems to have this feeling of Read More…
