Hey everyone, here is an update.

I’m going to start with the bad news. My computer got fried.My motherboard and hard drive failed.This has made it hard to keep up with all the content I want to make, but I am still trying.

The Good news is off the momentum of the ILoveMakonnen show DME got an opportunity to open for Ying Yang Twins Saturday October 3rd at Side Bar. It’s especially dope because, I feel like Black Tarzan has always been an outspoken fan of the sounds that came out of Atlanta in the early 2000. I think you can see this influence in his most recent EMD releases. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like I’m going to be able to make it to this show, but I’ll definitely keep everyone up to date on this.

Ok this might not be the most exiting blog post ever. I pretty much spent most of my time today on the back end work such as, writing blog posts and fixing the DME main site.

We really haven’t been treating the DME site with as much care as we needed too and it was starting to show. The albums weren’t up to date the way they should be. The performance schedule was missing events, the organization on the site was not ideal, and the header looked terrible.

Well after some grinding work and some meticulous editing I’m proud to say that DME site redesign is up. I think this the best the site has ever looked and our views are up too. That along with what the positive responses I’ve been getting lately have been really encouraging. So we will definitely keep adding new content to the DME site.

Finally tonight I was able to do a session with Outlawed Beats. Like I said in previous blogs, going into Outlaws studio is like walking into your childhood home. You know where everything is and you can’t help but bring back memories.Believe me when I say this me and Outlaw have spent hundreds of hours in there so its a space I’m very familiar with it. We worked on a show mix for “Things I Control” and after that was completed we sarted working on an unreleased song which will appear on my next project.

The song features Suchaloser and another special guest that I can’t reveal to you as of yet.That was it, my day rapped up with the session. Only five days till the show. Lets make this happen.

During our set Makonnen made it backstage and into his room. He was most defiantly blazing in there.Capital 6 was next to grace the stage and they ripped it. I feel like they had a sound issue for like the first four songs that made their vocal hard to hear, but it really didn’t matter they were so hype they shut shit down. The shit was dope, but I still had work to do taking pictures with people in the crowd and getting people to the merch table. In what I can only describe as disappointment when it was time for Makonnen to go on he actually said it was too early. So we all waited another thirty minutes for him to go on stage. We would have only needed five more minutes to finish our set.Oh well what can you do.

So we had to head back to Suchaloser’s place to grab the merchandise. By the time we made it back, Fleetwood had arrived at the Moon. Now I could calm down a bit, all the members had made it to the venue and all we had left to do was wait. A few members of the crew went outside to get in there right mind. While I set up the merch table. Two years of working retail definitely comes in handy when you need to make a display. We were set up right next to the ATM so we weren’t having any of that I didn’t bring any money talk.

Man does time fly. I feel like just yesterday I wrote the first one of these, but now its show day. The only word I can use to describe today is busy, and busy I was.I woke up 9 A.M. to start getting dressed for the show and finish the last blog post.This transitioned directly into me driving to Suchalosers place to pick him up so that we could pick up the loser lab shirts. On the way to pick up Suchaloser, I dropped Network off at the mall to go shop for clothes. Network would going to get a ride back with DJ Double G so I just left him there. The whole crew was supposed to ship out early, but no one was ready in time.

The shirts were literally printed on show day so we had to go get them. We had a hard deadline of noon to pick up the shirts and we made it to the shop just in time.We got the hook up from B Major Prints.The shop is real cool, I know they were working out of their house for a while so seeing that the hommies get an official business space is dope.I wish them the best. Next I had to take Suchaloser clothes shopping at a different mall than the one I was at earlier in the day. We rushed into the mall and hit up a few department stores. Then we rushed out of there just as fast because time was ticking to make it to sound check and we still had to drive across town.

Quick update

As mentioned before there will be new RJ blog series being released.

New poetry will be released

New Anime Articles will be released

There will explanations on why little movement has been happening on the site. It was not purposeful but personnel restructuring, work ethic modification meetings, and just creating new material because of the delays was and is taking place. I really try to do the best by the site. Thanks for patience

-Also will be trying to release quick comedy and inspiration pieces

–mentions and links to other sites and works will also be increasing

-Long over due but I will also try to finish FAQ and other such pages.

–Services page will gain an update with a table soon, Will try to add to that

–Videos will be released based based on the topic of some of the articles. So those updates will be happening and I hope that goes well.

–Still learning alot as this is still new territory, thanks to everyone for following and working with me. I sincerely am appreciative.

Ab Zero Update

Hello Everyone,

I’m Absolute Zero, and I’m making my first of these updates. I just got back to Miami From Tallahassee, Fl so its been a bit rough of an adjustment. I’m just going to fill in everyone on what you can expect from me going forward.

I’m going to finish out the Performance Preparation Blog that I was writing about the weeks leading into me opening for ILoveMakonnen with DME. I’m going to be finishing out the blog with #17 (show day), a three part blog. Trust me it was a long day and I’m going to give you all the details. After I finish putting out blog # I’m going to do a ILoveMakonnen Special Post which will have all the media we took at the show. Its going to be epic, the photos and video we got are pretty awesome.Now that I don’t Have to spend all of my time preparing the show.

-I will be starting a weekly post Music Review (note: That is part of Music Talks) for undiscovered music.

-I will also in the near future be starting a Music Talks with Rj.

– I will be starting back on my Classic Hip-Hop Album Reviews which should be back on a weekly basis.

– I am going to be starting back my Manga/Comic Review Series

– I’m going to start a Character Talk Series .

So, today was a day of reflection. I have been super busy and its good to take a moment to just pause and take you life in(Think its the face that the big show is so close). Sometimes you need to make sure your doing, is what you want. This will give you the ability to, if your heading off course re-focus on where to go from here.

I had a long talk with RJ from Youauthorus, and he was helping me towards understanding myself. We talk alot and he says alot of things and today I think I started to understand them better.

You know if you go over your actions and really think about them. We all do a lot of foolish things. I made the decision to spend my time more efficiently and actually accomplish the things(having a friend that stays up days and nights without rest and is very consist with being the best he can be, really rubs off on you).

One day can’t completely change you, but in one day you can change the trajectory that your life will take going forward. Outlaw told me recently that you are your futures self’s guardian angel. Watch out for your self that I want in my life, and I want to show some love to my future self.

If we orient towards improvement we can make our futures better than they would otherwise be(This is my paraphrase of an RJ line). I know this is a bit different from my other post but I have two days to go before this show and I know that no matter what happens from this point my life won’t be the same.
