      The Beatnuts – Watch Out Now Love this song by the Beatnuts, its a true classic. I remember as a kid listening to this song over and over. I actually never saw the video until years later. I don’t know if I am rating it higher than it is because of nostalgia points. No, I don’t think so because I liked it alot as a kid (maybe..). I think the overall level in the song is more than solid. The way that Hip Hop music is going I am not sure this song will be surpassed by future music to come.

      Brand Nubian – Slow Down    

    Movement + Location Trailer     Sci Fi, Indie, drama and plot, these are aspects that intrigue me and I am looking forward to viewing the film Movement + Location. Making a film can be really hard. Alot of people take the craft for granted, so many different crafts go into making a good film. I have a strong positive feeling that Movement + Location’s crew has done a good job, in the areas necessary for the film’s story to be told to me in a way that does not require extensive effort to watch (that is strong criteria for me when judging entertainment, not a special effects person as that is just spice). I think the movie is taking a creative approach at a few issues that really are human issues. Setting these issues in a sci-fi can make them easier to digest and hopefully grow from. Love, loyalty, helping others, the affinity of man(kind), are just a few things for starters. Wrapping these all into a sci-fi plot that deals with these issues makes for an interesting package, that I am truly excited to see.   Movement and LocationMovement and Location

  Moroccan Bocadillos Best Moroccan Restaurant of wheels I am going to say this with a straight face(that you can’t see). This is the best Moroccan restaurant on wheels, easily. The food is great, whether your use to middle eastern food or not. Their menu really reaches out to everyone without losing the cultural Moroccan nature. I had their salad, ooooh man… I’m getting hungry just remembering the salad. It was simply love, and I recommend it to anyone and I may offer to buy a salad for you (if your lucky).

Hip Hop 4 Flint, helping to light the flame hope for all of us working to create a better world   — Thanks to Hip Hop 4 Flint for shining the spotlight back on the events happening in Flint Michigan. Its really easy to forget about these kinds of problems in our current society. However its people like them that are striving and doing the best they can whatever their personal beliefs and ideologies are do aid people voluntarily is re-inspiring. I wanted to pass the light that they shined to me, to shine it to you so you can see and have a chance to do something. There are people that feel that they do not have the funds to do anything to help. That’s only true when its one individual but if many people do a little it becomes alot. The world is the way it is today not really because of the big things and or moments, its the little ones. So just think of it as an opportunity cost, you can easily side step that extra Arizona(1$ ) or Big Texas Cinnamon bun(1$).(Yes, I am using things I like to eat)

    —- “everything is Props and Bonds. Delivery like Papa Johns.” BD the Wiz Chi –Props and Bonds is a really cool Hip Hop event that is hosted at Catalyst Miami (in Miami Springs), ever month. The MCs are really cool people who host a show that has a Catalyst imprint (update). -There are alot of people who host Hip Hop shows. However many of them do not possess the proper organic spirit of Hip Hop, Props and Bonds does.

—  I met Don Julio about now two weeks back(consciously, I may have seen him or met him before, its very possible). I heard him and his associates practicing. Normally I would’ve just left but Don Julio seemed to be a cool and good dude, well so did the other people room. So they opened the floor up and was really going over ways to make their performances the best for the audience. Which is huge positive, being constructive I stayed around and I tried to stay still like a background. I was able to hear Don Julio‘s newer stuff, which he was going to use for the event.

  The Spotlight: Music Talks Acey Ace  I first heard Ace Acey at Props and Bonds (check out my experience at Props & Bonds). I was surprised by how good he was that night. He had a great performance and I actually liked his content, so did the crowd.   – Please Play this song “Lemonade”-   When he got on stage I was not expecting much, honestly. I was just waiting until I could hear the guys I came to support such as Don Julio(see other for info).  I once again will re-iterate, I was surprised, I mean pleasantly surprised with the talent that he demonstrated. It raised the bar for the rest of the performances for me. It has also elevated my view of future performances from Props and Bonds(what I saw that night was pretty amazing, more about it here). He performed three songs, which from his album(later found out and link to it can be found at bottom support) Blue & Red. I can’t remember the third, so many stuff has happened to me since(good and bad, plus the struggle to get these articles, while getting people to do their work).
