Yesterday was drive all day, kinda day. Eight hours of road, sun, rain, and NPR. That was the order of the day and I didn’t deviate from it that much. I have made that drive over a dozen times from Miami to Tallahassee and this had to be one of the most pleasant drives.

There were just a few moments where I was driving and the scenery was breathtaking. For example somewhere in central Florida the clouds were in a stack. The strange and beautiful thing is that the clouds were pink and blue colors. They seemed to have the character of a painting canvassed onto the sky. It really felt like a psychedelic experience. The world had this hard to describe beauty, that made it all feel hand designed.

There was also a point in the journey where it started to rain hard. It’s Florida and in any trip that lengthy you will eventually encounter rain. Boy did it rain, I had about ten feet of no visibility. A bit of danger there but I slowed the fuck down and kept driving.

The awesome thing was after the rain, there was a strong wind coupled with the setting sun. By this time the flora had changed from the subtropical plants of Miami, to the oaks and broad leaf trees. So in the amber sunlight around huge highway banks leaves were falling throughout the sky. This happened as far as the eye could see, it was a bit breathtaking honestly.

That was pretty much the day, I showed up at my old job. I talked music with the homie Black Tarzan. We discussed plans of action for all the shows we were about to do

Today was just one of those days, I had busy work to get done. Doing any type of music tour involves a lot of busy work. My trip to Tallahassee to open for ILoveMakonnen is going to be no exception.

First I had to buy two new front tires for my car. Which of course come with all of the normal frustrations and fears of going to the mechanic. They kind of just tell you everything that’s wrong with your car. “Give us all the moneys now“. That’s not a typo, Francs, Yen, Pesos, they take it all.

I finally feel like we are at the point where the recognition is starting to come. I’m going to take this chance and make the most of it.

So after I dealt with the car and had everything worked out. I took part in America’s favorite pass time. Calling Comcast customer service to fix their faulty service.

I’ve never had an experience this bad with Comcast. Besides the fact that they sent two technicians to my house two days prior. Who both left without fixing the problem, they also assured me that they would give me an expiated appointment. I could expect to get a next day appointment, so long as it was from 8AM – 8PM. A ridiculous window to have open availability.

Worst of all they never showed up. I waited all day for no fucking reason. Ya, I don’t have much for this blog post, thank Comcast for that too. But I’m still in good spirits, tomorrow is my drive up to Tallahassee.
