Beanie Sigel vs Meek Mill a quick and general context Beanie Sigel is a Philadelphia Hip Hop legend (new legend) who has entered into a surfaced beef with Rapper Meek Mill. There is alot going on in this beef, making it more complicated than it should be. My focus here is to quickly provide context and not spend too much time going over every detail that happens or lead up to this feud (complex develop, simple solutions). Rapper Meek Mill entered a feud with another rapper named The Game. This rap beef was by The Game‘s account meant to be a lyrical one with just a one on one physical battle (a boxing match, fade, fisty cuffs, etc). This allegedly started over Meek Mill informing Sean Kingston about the robbery of his personal items (his jewelry got taken and he was assaulted from the back). Music Quest Log: Ending up at Props and Bonds to show some support for local artist Another event day int the music quest logs.- I had alot to do before I even got to Saturday Mic Live event. It was quite the build up from the week before (see Music Quest Intro). I arrived to the event, to support a few of the artist that I had seen perform the week prior. I was in for a nice surprise this time around because alot of things happened at this event which made it the local Hip Hop event of the month. — I met Don Julio about now two weeks back(consciously, I may have seen him or met him before, its very possible). I heard him and his associates practicing. Normally I would’ve just left but Don Julio seemed to be a cool and good dude, well so did the other people room. So they opened the floor up and was really going over ways to make their performances the best for the audience. Which is huge positive, being constructive I stayed around and I tried to stay still like a background. I was able to hear Don Julio‘s newer stuff, which he was going to use for the event.
The Spotlight: Music Talks Acey Ace I first heard Ace Acey at Props and Bonds (check out my experience at Props & Bonds). I was surprised by how good he was that night. He had a great performance and I actually liked his content, so did the crowd. – Please Play this song “Lemonade”- When he got on stage I was not expecting much, honestly. I was just waiting until I could hear the guys I came to support such as Don Julio(see other for info). I once again will re-iterate, I was surprised, I mean pleasantly surprised with the talent that he demonstrated. It raised the bar for the rest of the performances for me. It has also elevated my view of future performances from Props and Bonds(what I saw that night was pretty amazing, more about it here). He performed three songs, which from his album(later found out and link to it can be found at bottom support) Blue & Red. I can’t remember the third, so many stuff has happened to me since(good and bad, plus the struggle to get these articles, while getting people to do their work).
