Artistic Vibes Open Mic Tonight(4,7, 2016) and Comedy Event Laugh attack tomorrow One of the best Open Mic spots in Miami is having their regular ad awesome open mic tonight at 9:00PM. The ticket cost is 5$, its a great place to have a great time. The range is huge, you get music, comedy, poetry, improv, its alot and always variable (which is like a life spice). If you have friends and your looking for a cool spot to hang out or don’t know where to take a date, try Artistic Vibes. Really nice place and the people are so nice. I don’t know if I’m breaking some sort of rule by telling everyone about the best underground places to enjoy yourself in Miami. I just noticed that lack of information sharing about the good spots in the Miami community and thought it would be good to know. If you know any cool places, please feel free to let me know. Easily their Open Mic Thursday weekly shows are arguably the best in Greater Miami. If anyone knows a better place,please feel free to notify me. Its all around better for the collective arts community and I would definitely like to promote such a place, right beside the place I am talking about now called Artistic Vibes. One of the key reasons I think Artistic Vibes is the one of the best if not the best spot in Miami is the supportive family vibe that is present within the organization. Tremendous talent walks in and resides within the venue. It is an extremely impressive collection but the ability to cultivate and develop talent is an especially important feature in Open Mic events. Artistic Vibes’s ReVerb presents LOVE SICK I’ll most probably be at this event tonight. Sorry, I couldn’t tell you guys about it sooner because well, I found about it on performance night (last Thursday). I have been a bit busy(similar stuff to the past but I am doing my best to change it). I can say that if this event is half as good as Artistic Vibes weekly open mic, that is on Thursday; Reverb will be really good, because the events on Thursdays for me have been great. I have not been able to do a Spotlight on Artistic Vibes but I will. The talent their is amazing and the host is wow, Quills Rodriguez (follow her cause you probably follow less talented people, lol) is amazing MC, just so funny(I always find jokes just on and multi-layered which is important). Then her improvisational skills are just top notch, hard for me to think of better people in that area. Look something usually goes wrong at a show, also its really hard to have material that you are creating off the dome for most people. The Amazing and Humble Singer Robson Pires Robson Pires is a musician I heard perform at a place named Artistic Vibes(an amazing talent filled place). I went there with Absolute Zero. Basically do the things he could not do, if the situation called for it. I was going to perform some of my poetry; I had not been on a stage in a long time. Unbeknownst to me, I sat in front of two eventful artists. One was a person named Manny, he is quite the poet. The other was the person who I am writing about today, Robson. Robson is a very quiet and humble guy, he’s seemingly a gentle kind of quiet. I can relate to that, however for me I try not to be quiet too often. I’ve tend to put people on edge, because I have a vibe like a Huey or Spock (from Star Trek). However I can say that Robson’s, quiet and gentle demeanor really aides him because it makes the impact of his music even more powerful. Manny The Poet Quick Introduction to a fellow poet that I had the pleasure of meeting on Thursday(12,10, 2015) named Manny. I met him at a place called Artistic Vibes , great place by the way. I went their support and basically do the work that Absolute Zero can’t. I also was going to perform if possible. Its been a long time since I have been on stage. So, the trade off was decided because Ab Zero could not do the things that I could do if the need arose at the location. I honestly did not expect it to be as great as it was, the talent level was all really high. Behind me was Manny, I honestly thought he was more than a spectator, but I did not know he was an act. I thought maybe he was friends with management and worked in some capacity with them. When Manny got on stage he did not wilt or perform a set inferior in way, shape or form to the diverse array of talented acts that preceded him. He performed Naturally, which was really good.
