A diss song from Philadelphia Hip Hop legend Beanie Sigel, aimed at Meek Mill. The song was given weight by Meek Mill‘s crew sucker punching Beanie Sigel in the face at an event. Hip-Hop RPG Episode 1

I did some audio consultation and sound effects for the youtube series “The Hip- Hop RPG“. This series created by Dom (of the DSC youtube channel) focuses on a fictional story of a time traveling Kendrick Lamar fighting Illuminati aliens.

Basically the idea is to create a parody of Final Fantasy and modern day Hip-Hop. Dom was heavily influenced by Final Fantasy VII when he was young, and his podcast puts him into the world of Hip-Hop on a regular basis. Being the talented visual artist and creator he is, The Hip-Hop RPG married these two worlds together.

Dom reached out to me for help with some sound effects and audio selection. I was more than glad to help. I’ve always been a big fan of his channel, and I feel he is an incredibly talented artist. He always stresses hard work and it shows in his end product.

Absolute Zero: Zero (Music Video)

This is my title track form my self titled album “Zero“. This dark track sets the tone and the mood of the album. I was able to work with Dom on the music video. Its a very simple concept, but I really enjoy the way this came out. I’m not an visual artist, but it always amazes me the what people can draw.

Personal Introduction of Night

I came to Props & Bonds Saturday Mic Live September 17th to enjoy the monthly show. I especially had to support @Dermdzl.

There were a slew of great artist that came through, it was a great night. I was personally dealing with some mental and emotional issues but that’s become pretty constant so I try to find something sincere to be happy about, being positive. It wasn’t that hard because the people at Catalyst Hip Hop Miami &Props and Bonds Saturday Mic Live are pretty good people. Really solid and positive and its hard to stay in a negative disposition around them for long, especially if you are trying to be positive yourself.

I probably looked the range in some of pictures that end up being taken at the events that night, lol. Through the event I was in alot pain as I have injured my leg. Happily, the event was so awesome. I really tried my best to support and stay in a supportive mental state. I have alot of pain tolerance, but it was discomforting to move.

Once again, I am so happy that I got to be at this event because man, it was special. Its hard to not be moved when the artist put their heart and spirit into their performances. Those things really move me man, I was sincerely happy I got to go this event. I am very happy I can share my memory in words with you, as it is pleasant memory which gives me alot of positive energy.

Personal Recount and View/Impression of Event

Props and Bonds Saturday Mic Live is a organic Hip Hop event held at Catalyst Hip Hop Miami usually in Miami Springs, every month (so monthly). The event showcases local talent in Miami (mostly. However other acts from different locals come through. The event is free, which is rare and the talent level of the hosts Kosi and Luni are really high. They really do an amazing job. I think alot of other hosts do not have the ability and range of improvisational skills that these guys have.

Luni was there early but Kosi didn’t arrive yet. I was tired but made sure I got there early. The last few shows I have been more than a bit late. Normally during the show I am actually writing and doing other work which was something tried not to do this time (I’m pretty busy, however I try to help Absolute Zero with this music stuff). The show started off with a longer Cypher than normal.

Alright I’m going to take this moment to talk about Righteous Rod. I first met Righteous Rod at the Hip Hop For Flint Charity Concert. The dude was really energetic and really enthused about his set. I have to say he gave an amazing performance. This is especially true, given the fact that there were technical difficulties at the event. This prevented the music from playing properly while he was performing. The dude still killed it, energetic and keyed into his performance.

I ended up listening to Rod’s music on soundcloud, and I was really impressed by what I heard. What impressed me about him the most is how many different styles the guy raps in. I myself like changing up my flow and cadence, so I really give out props to other artist for being able to do that. I really do like that the songs I’ve heard from him so far.

Michael’s Repentance: Introducing Myself and My Problems

Hey, everyone I know that I’ve have been absent on Facebook for while. I wanted to let everyone in on some of the things going on with me (past and present). This is just a little bit of what you can expect from me in the future.

Most people who know me, know I’m a strange dude. I’m socially awkward, secretive, pretentious (for like no reason) and I have an incredibly bad memory.

These are just some of the major problems that I have. I am currently working on them but I also have some darker problems, some really dark chronic issues I’m dealing with. These problems, I have been dealing with them my whole life. But more recently these problems have directly hurt the people I my life who I care about most.

Rj Knight Personal Update: Stopping music and putting less into Absolute Zero

Stopping music on the site and winding down/ stopping work with Michael/ Zero.

Me and Zero are still friends, for anyone coming for Zero updates you will still be able to find it here. However I will be moving away from it from reasons I contextualize below. To make clearly it is more a spiritual move away or orientation as I want and need Zero to be more autonomous. This was the original arrangement we had about the extended work. Alot has changed as many projects are now pretty much cancelled (unless I put in the work in them but I’m pretty tired and I honestly might not have life time left to do this).

I want to get back to writing stories and dealing with Animanga. I need to fix personal problems that have been amplified or exacerbated in this period that I have spent helping Absolute Zero with his person. I want to the best job that I can in all things, this means I want the site to function at the best that it can (to the best of my sincere abilities). Everything is with these factors in mind, if still curious…. you can read below for greater context.

Micheal’s personal Input List (production list)

This is the input list ( Production list with dates for expected release) that I’m working with now. These are the things that I have to do, when I feel like I’m prepared for them (I create alot of problems, have alot of issues and trying my best to be a person that deals with those issues instead of dumping them on others).

I’m putting them out so hopefully people can hold me to account. I know that the website had hundreds of readers and thousands of views. I’ve literally messed up all that up with my dysfunction. We’ve went into all these directions to help me because I was doing things that I was incredibly dangerous to myself and others. Rj did these things to help me find something positive I can do, so I could become more stable.

The site was supposed to originally be just about Animanga and novels (stories that Rj would write and release). I feel really bad about this but because of my involvement we went into all these directions that has made everything confusing. This is why I started doing my Repentance Blog.

In order to show the changes I’m trying to make, to show my growth and to work on myself, I’m putting out a list of the work I”m doing.

Honestly alot of times RJ was taking the blame (or looking bad) for me, and we lost a lot (pretty much everything is way lower because of my actions). He lost a lot in doing this over many years because he had been working on this even before I met him. I’m going to put up my stuff so people know, and this way I can keep up with the dates I’m setting for myself. I want people to know because I want to put everything on front street to help act as a forcing mechanism to keep me more on track.
