The Spotlight: Music Talks Acey Ace  I first heard Ace Acey at Props and Bonds (check out my experience at Props & Bonds). I was surprised by how good he was that night. He had a great performance and I actually liked his content, so did the crowd.   – Please Play this song “Lemonade”-   When he got on stage I was not expecting much, honestly. I was just waiting until I could hear the guys I came to support such as Don Julio(see other for info).  I once again will re-iterate, I was surprised, I mean pleasantly surprised with the talent that he demonstrated. It raised the bar for the rest of the performances for me. It has also elevated my view of future performances from Props and Bonds(what I saw that night was pretty amazing, more about it here). He performed three songs, which from his album(later found out and link to it can be found at bottom support) Blue & Red. I can’t remember the third, so many stuff has happened to me since(good and bad, plus the struggle to get these articles, while getting people to do their work).     Absolute Zero Return To the starting point: Blog #5 part 2 – I’m finally at the starting point. I finally started to get good enough at writing to move forward with the website. So today I met with RJ to get the blog back up. If your reading this than you know the meeting was a success. With the style of hip-hop Immortal Technique  employs it makes having such an intimate crowd play off well. The venue fits about 500 people and once we got parked and got settled it was almost full. The bar had a nice setup. The bar was on one half of the building and the other half  was a dedicated area for a stage. The stage looked really nice, I would love a chance to rock it up there.

So today I met with RJ to get the blog back up. If your reading this than you know the meeting was a success. So today was a big day for me. Immortal Technique was performing in Miami and I was looking forward to the concert. I had my tickets printed from the day before. I had pretty much everything ready to go and in place. I didn’t want to have any problems getting to the show, and I definitely wasn’t trying to be late. After helping my Aunt out a bit with some computer problems she was having, I started getting dressed for the Immortal Technique concert. It was already five o’clock and the show started at 8. I needed to start getting moving. The show was a considerable drive away, especially considering I had to pick up RJ first. While literally about to leave the door, my mom tells me that her car broke down in front of the house. She wanted a jump start, Read More…

Absolute Zero Return To the starting point: Blog #4 I’m finally at the starting point. I finally started to get good enough at writing to move forward with the website. So today I met with RJ to get the blog back up. If your reading this than you know the meeting was a success. Man my sleep schedule is messed up. I woke up today at 4 AM to write more blog entries. I didn’t even plan to go to sleep. I feel asleep writing at my desk. I woke up at like midnight and slid into my bed. I might be borderline narcoleptic. I can fall asleep almost anywhere.  At least I’ve never fallen asleep while driving.
