Raury isn’t a large mainstream voice in hip-hop at the moment. So I’m going to make a few introductory posts for his music. I’m going to showcase the 5 most essential songs in Raury’s catalog, in my humble opinion.

So today I met with RJ to get the blog back up. If your reading this than you know the meeting was a success. With the style of hip-hop Immortal Technique employs it makes having such an intimate crowd play off well. The venue fits about 500 people and once we got parked and got settled it was almost full. The bar had a nice setup. The bar was on one half of the building and the other half was a dedicated area for a stage. The stage looked really nice, I would love a chance to rock it up there.

I didn’t want to have any problems getting to the show, and I definitely wasn’t trying to be late. I went to a super dope jam on Saturday 19 of December 2015. The event was the 14th anniversary of Catalyst Hip-Hop. For anyone unfamiliar with Catalyst, they are an organization based out of CrossBridge Church. They have been providing a space for hip-hop culture in the south florida area. Honestly they are one of the most positive organizations I’ve ever been associated with. They provide a space for Bboys to practice and meet for free. They provide a space for hip-hop and freestyling for free.They are one of the only places outside of skate parks that I’ve seen with public graffiti walls, once again for free.They stick very close to the roots of hip-hop and it’s really appreciated. The church staff is kind, and they aren’t invasive with their message. They are very respectful and allow you to talk to them at your own pace. (If you want to learn more about the church or get involved with message they are available to help you ). I didn’t even plan to go to sleep. I feel asleep writing at my desk. I woke up at like midnight and slid into my bed. I might be borderline narcoleptic. I can fall asleep almost anywhere. At least I’ve never fallen asleep while driving.

She is one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met. She was born and raised in Jamaica and has a lot of strong principles about her. She works hard and is never the type to hold her tongue, even when it might get her in trouble. I don’t know if she does this consciously (like fuck the consequences) or unconsciously but she is a character. She needed some help on the computer and I helped her do what she needed to do. So today I met with RJ to get the blog back up. If your reading this than you know the meeting was a success. – Yesterday I met with RJ and worked on the blog. After I left him I expected to just go home and study for a job interview in the morning. Unfortunately when I got home I couldn’t find my social security card, the manager asked me to bring into the store. I knew this was going to be a problem, so I stayed up trying to find the card. I figured it was in my storage container. The storage place didn’t open till 6 AM. So I woke up early and made it as soon as they were opening. Unfortunately I still couldn’t find my social security card, even though I thoroughly searched both my house and the storage unit. From 6 AM to noon I was searching with out any success.
The Amazing and Humble Singer Robson Pires Robson Pires is a musician I heard perform at a place named Artistic Vibes(an amazing talent filled place). I went there with Absolute Zero. Basically do the things he could not do, if the situation called for it. I was going to perform some of my poetry; I had not been on a stage in a long time. Unbeknownst to me, I sat in front of two eventful artists. One was a person named Manny, he is quite the poet. The other was the person who I am writing about today, Robson. Robson is a very quiet and humble guy, he’s seemingly a gentle kind of quiet. I can relate to that, however for me I try not to be quiet too often. I’ve tend to put people on edge, because I have a vibe like a Huey or Spock (from Star Trek). However I can say that Robson’s, quiet and gentle demeanor really aides him because it makes the impact of his music even more powerful. So today I met with RJ to get the blog back up. If your reading this than you know the meeting was a success. Unfortunately I was a Black Friday shopper. In fact I started early. On Thanksgiving evening I was in Best Buy with a crowd of people, trying to take advantage of sales. I couldn’t get everything I needed on Thanksgiving. So I had to go out again on Black Friday. I actually didn’t have a problem with the shoppers in the store. Everyone was pretty chill and the lines were long. That I expected, and was prepared for, I had more of a problem with the traffic. It felt like all of Miami was stuck in gridlock.
Nuclear Power I live about five miles from a nuclear power plant. I would much rather live next to that than a coal power plant.
