I’m not going to lie, nothing on this tape really grabbed me. Don’t misunderstand me, I’m not saying that the music was terrible. Raury had an interesting sound, but nothing about his lyrics or performance made me want to listen to the record again after the first few listens. But I did come away with the thought that Raury had a lot of potential. So coming into this project my hopes were that Raury would have refined his sound a bit more, as well as improve his lyricism.

Absolute Zero Return To the starting point: Blog #2 – I’m finally at the starting point. I finally started to get good enough at writing to move forward with the website. So today I met with RJ to get the blog back up. If your reading this than you know the meeting was a success. – Yesterday I met with RJ and worked on the blog. After I left him I expected to just go home and study for a job interview in the morning. Unfortunately when I got home I couldn’t find my social security card, the manager asked me to bring into the store. I knew this was going to be a problem, so I stayed up trying to find the card. I figured it was in my storage container. The storage place didn’t open till 6 AM. So I woke up early and made it as soon as they were opening. Unfortunately I still couldn’t find my social security card, even though I thoroughly searched both my house and the storage unit. From 6 AM to noon I was searching with out any success.
The Amazing and Humble Singer Robson Pires Robson Pires is a musician I heard perform at a place named Artistic Vibes(an amazing talent filled place). I went there with Absolute Zero. Basically do the things he could not do, if the situation called for it. I was going to perform some of my poetry; I had not been on a stage in a long time. Unbeknownst to me, I sat in front of two eventful artists. One was a person named Manny, he is quite the poet. The other was the person who I am writing about today, Robson. Robson is a very quiet and humble guy, he’s seemingly a gentle kind of quiet. I can relate to that, however for me I try not to be quiet too often. I have an interview later today at a music store. I really want to appear knowledgeable for the job. I feel like I have enough knowledge to do a good interview. I just want to make sure to give myself more confidence. When I’m confident in myself ; I know I perform much better in any situation. Hopefully this meeting won’t be too stressful. I was debating weather I should were dress or casual clothes. I actually am opting against dress clothes, because at these type of jobs every time I do an interview in dress attire, I never get the job. Maybe this shows that I’m trying too hard, I don’t know, but I should just trust the trend. Every time I dress casual I get the job, so casual it is. Absolute Zero Return To the starting point: Blog #1 – I’m finally at the starting point. I finally started to get good enough at writing to move forward with the website. So today I met with RJ to get the blog back up. If your reading this than you know the meeting was a success. Unfortunately I was a Black Friday shopper. In fact I started early. On Thanksgiving evening I was in Best Buy with a crowd of people, trying to take advantage of sales. I couldn’t get everything I needed on Thanksgiving. So I had to go out again on Black Friday. I actually didn’t have a problem with the shoppers in the store. Everyone was pretty chill and the lines were long. That I expected, and was prepared for, I had more of a problem with the traffic. It felt like all of Miami was stuck in gridlock.
My Quick Intro Fleetwood is a rapper to listen to, his music is really solid. He has to me a pretty good range, as a rapper. His Flow is very good, I think he’s easily better than most rappers I hear. To be honest more important than the skills which he obviously has, he is a very good guy. If you really want to contact a rapper and get someone to reach back out to you, Fleetwood is your guy. You have a show and he is going to perform, he is very respectful and does procedure. He doesn’t leave you in a bad spot. I think these are important qualities and if you contact him a bit on social media(Try Facebook) you will see this. It also comes out to me in his music, I think he’s pragmatic and a person that really loves his work.
